Revealed: Total Money Paid To Sack Arsene Wenger

The amount the was paid to former Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger has been revealed by UK Times.

The report revealed that Wenger and his coaching staff were paid the sum of £17.1m to end the reign of Wenger in the Emirate stadium.

Naija News had reported that the 68-year-old was sacked from the club after 22 years in charge, despite having one year left on his current contract.

During Wenger’s press conference ahead of a Europa League match against Atletico Madrid, he hinted that he was sacked by the club and stated that the decision was not his.

“The timing was not really my decision and for the rest, I’ve spoken about it already,” he said.
