Arsenal playmaker, Mesut Ozil, has spoken on his side’s 4-1 victory over Fulham on Tuesday in the Premier League.
Goals from Granit Xhaka, Alexandre Lacazette, Aaron Ramsey and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave Unai Emery’s side all three points against Fulham.
However, Aboubakar Kamara did score for the visitors at the Emirates Stadium.
Ozil, who did not feature for Arsenal against Fulham due to injury, took to his official twitter page, @MesutOzil1088, to congratulate the Gunners for a positive start into 2019.
The ex-Germany international also admitted that it was hard for him not being on the pitch.
“Positive start into 2019 for us! Congrats Gunners! Nevertheless it was hard for me to not being on the pitch due to my injury today,” Ozil twitted.
